BBL HEROic™ uses advanced BroadBand Light technology to deliver precise pulses of light energy into the skin, targeting pigment, visible blood vessels, and other sources of discoloration without harming the surrounding tissue. BBL HEROic™ Aftercare: What to Expect

Following your BBL HEROic™ treatment, it's normal to experience mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling similar to a mild sunburn. If pigmented spots were treated, they may temporarily appear darker before naturally flaking away over the next several days as your skin renews itself.

Do's

Apply a gentle moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day.

Allow darkened pigment to naturally shed without picking or scrubbing the skin.

Attend any recommended follow-up appointments to evaluate your progress and discuss future treatments.

Don'ts

Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, and self-tanners until your provider advises it is safe.

Refrain from using exfoliating products, retinoids, or harsh active ingredients until your skin has recovered.

Delay additional laser or skin resurfacing treatments until your provider recommends it's appropriate to resume them.
